The Team

Jan Weststrate and Pauline van der Veeken are lovers of this beautiful village, the national park and the Burgundian terroir and have had a house in Cussey les Forges for more than 20 years. With a lot of travel experience, they have completely renovated the Auberge to offer their customers a pleasant stay to discover the charm of Burgundy.

Didier and Damien Vynisales, father and son, chef and manager, have lived in Cussey les Forges for more than 25 years and know this area like the back of their hand. With a lot of experience in the catering industry and a love for the kitchen and hospitality, they run the Auberge and the restaurant together. Didier provides extra culinary exotic surprises due to his origins from Réunion

Nicolas Clair was born and raised in the region and as a chef he puts his love for regional Burgundian cuisine into practice for you. With a lot of culinary experience from Bèze and his own creative twist.
