Overlooking the monumental 13th century Saint-Remy church, this inn, completely renovated in 2024, offers modern comfort while retaining the sturdy elements of this stately building in a very quiet and charming environment.

The Team

Jan Weststrate and Pauline van der Veeken are lovers of this beautiful village, the national park and the Burgundian terroir and have had a house in Cussey les Forges for more than 20 years. With a lot of travel experience, they have completely renovated the Auberge to offer their customers a pleasant stay to discover the charm of Burgundy.

Nicolas Clair was born and raised in the region and as a chef he puts his love for regional Burgundian cuisine into practice for you. With a lot of culinary experience from Bèze and his own creative twist.

Claire Clair - Nicolas' wife - is our enthusiastic manager and hostess who offers a warm welcome and personal attention, making you feel right at home. With an eye for detail and excellent service, she makes sure your stay is perfect. Her dedication makes every experience at our Auberge unforgettable.

Elsa Gautherot looks after the rooms at the Auberge du Molveau with dedication. She makes sure everything is clean, tidy and inviting so that our guests feel welcome and have a pleasant stay.
