In the heart of the Parc National des Forêts and near Dijon, the charming Auberge du Molveau is located at the highest point of the peaceful village of Cussey-les-Forges.
This characterful building, dating from the time of Napoleon III, was fully renovated in 2024 and combines modern comfort with authentic, robust features. Here you can enjoy space, tranquility, and the pure charm of the Burgundian countryside.

The Team
Jan Weststrate and Pauline van der Veeken have felt closely connected to Cussey-les-Forges for more than twenty years. They share a deep love for the village, the surrounding national park and the Burgundy region.
Drawing on their extensive travel experience, they have completely renovated the Auberge. Their aim is to offer guests a warm and enjoyable stay while introducing them to the tranquillity, natural beauty and flavours of Burgundy.
Virgile Chambord is our chef. Passionate about quality local produce and Burgundian cuisine, he prepares generous, homemade dishes that showcase the flavours of the region.
Aline Minot takes great care of the rooms at Auberge du Molveau. She ensures that everything is clean, comfortable and welcoming, so that our guests feel at home from the moment they arrive. Aline also supports the team in the kitchen and helps with welcoming and serving our guests.
